The Company
Traders Insurance Company is one of the leading providers in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands of non-life insurance and surety products to a wide variety of businesses, organizations, and individuals.

Traders Insurance Company (TIC) opened its door for business in October 1997 on Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and wrote only limited lines of insurance. In early operation, TIC is issuing only construction and labor bonds and worker’s compensation insurance and an agent to some international insurance companies in the CNMI for other non-life insurance business.
Today, after a decade of experience and expansion, TIC has earned its rightful place as one of the leading insurance providers in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

The company is supported by a panel of top-rated reinsurers led by Everest Reinsurance Company, which is rated “A+” (superior) by A.M. Best and “AA–” (very strong) by Standard & Poor (S&P). It is also listed in the U.S. Treasury's accredited reinsurers.
